"Responsible Consumption: Connection between Business and Consumer" was the main topic of the 3rd Siberian Perspective Sustainable Development Summit held in Krasnoryask in the Bobrovy Log Fan Park.
The moderator of this session was Andrey Sharonov, Director General of the National Alliance for Social and Environmental Responsibility, Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development. The best practices of leading Russian companies were shared by Vladimir Zhukov, Vice President of Norilsk Nickel for Sustainable Development and Investor Relations, representatives of Metalloinvest, Krastsvetmet, United Metallurgical Company, Rosatom, the UN Global Compact National Network Association, the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park. At the session "Quality of Life Index in small and medium-sized cities of Russia" experts, representatives of municipal and regional authorities, Norilsk Development Agency, ANO "Second School" discussed the practical implementation of this methodology. According to Mikhail Kuznetsov, Director of the Department of Federal and Regional Programs of Norilsk, "the renovation of Norilsk can serve as an excellent example of interaction between federal, regional, municipal authorities, big business and development institutions."
A separate day of the Siberian Perspective was dedicated to volunteering. During the interactive game, environmental projects of corporate volunteers of Russian Railways, BEAC, MTS, Norilsk Nickel were considered. The latest creative achievements of Norilsk Nickel were presented by Irina Zhuikova, Director of the company's Social Policy Department. Konstantin Nesterov, General Director of the Beaver Log Fan Park, and Vladimir Shcherbakov, Director of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park, presented a joint project — a climate trail. By tradition, volunteers from leading Russian companies repaired and equipped several eco-trails of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars.
