The press service of the national park reported that in early September it was visited by the chairman of the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Fetisov. He climbed the K1 chairlift of the Bobrovy Log Funpark and walked along the Climate Route.

"Director of Krasnoyarsk Pillars Vyacheslav Shcherbakov, head of Funpark Konstantin Nesterov, representatives of the Norilsk Nickel company spoke about joint implemented volunteer projects. Thanks to this, this eco-route appeared, paved trails were equipped, educational infrastructure was created, a new environmental-educational program for schoolchildren and students is being implemented ", the message says.

The guest of the national park highly appreciated the experience of Krasnoyarsk in the development of eco-tourism. According to him, “Krasnoyarsk Pillars” not only give people the opportunity to enjoy nature, but also have an educational function. For example, the national park hosts lessons for children.

“This is such an example for all other regions that for fairly small funds it is possible to create modern conditions for ecotourism. And, of course, gratitude to Norilsk Nickel for the fact that a world-famous company is increasingly thinking about ecology, nature, and the future of children and grandchildren,” said the deputy.

Fetisov was told in detail about the role of the national park as an educational center for training personnel for the forestry and environmental protection industries. The meeting participants noted the importance of increasing the prestige of the forester profession and raised issues of early career guidance for schoolchildren, as well as the possibility of priority admission to specialized universities for participants in the “Reserve Landing” and school forestries.

In addition, the deputy inspected the meteorological site of the national park. There he was presented with projects for the country's first climate research and educational center. Among the topics raised during the meeting was the fight against invasive species, including the bark beetle, and interdepartmental cooperation to prevent forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In particular, young scientists from Krasnoyarsk universities, together with representatives of local authorities, are taking measures to prevent and prevent catastrophic forest fires.
