According to forecasters, by this time, a stable snow cover suitable for skiing will be formed on the slopes. Alexander Kolesnik, Deputy Head of the State Institution of the Krasnodar Territory "Territorial

Center for Monitoring and Forecasting Emergencies of Natural and Technogenic Nature", spoke about this.It is likely that the winter holiday season will open in terms of skiing by mid-December. And the temperature background will support it. I am inclined to this, the year we have is quite water, plus everything is still going on, there should be enough precipitation for the formation of a stable snow cover, said the forecaster.

For the formation of a stable snow cover, which is favorable for skiing and snowboarding, two factors are necessary - the amount of precipitation and the temperature background that restrains the snow cover. The specialist emphasized that the temperature background has already been leveled enough to contain the snow cover, but it does not exist as such, since we had snow only a few times, and it was short-lived. The expert noted that more active precipitation will begin this week.
