The Russian Geographical Society until March 31 is hosting a photo reception for the 10th anniversary photo contest "The Most Beautiful Country".
A photographer of any level can submit his work, his place of residence, citizenship or age does not matter. The main condition is that the photo must be taken on the territory of Russia.
The competition traditionally includes ten nominations: "Landscapes", "Wild animals", "Birds", "Magic of the elements", "Russia from a bird's-eye view", "Russia in faces", "Living Archive", "Art of Wildlife", "Macrocosm" and "Filmed on the phone".
In 2024, two new nominations appeared in the competition: "Photo Project" and "The most beautiful desktop wallpapers".
The jury traditionally included famous photographers, film directors, actors and art historians. The winners of the competition in the main categories will receive 250,000 rubles each, the RGO reported.
