Art Festival named after Kozma Prutkov and the traditional Prokopyevskaya fair will be held in Solvychegodsk on July 15. Residents and guests of the capital of the "Silver Necklace of Russia" at SolFest will be waiting for seven open-air locations. This was reported by the Information and Tourist Portal of the Arkhangelsk Region.
“The grand opening of the festival, the Solfest flash mob and performances by local and invited artists will take place on the main stage near the Vvedensky Cathedral. Among them are the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Dyatlov and the participant of the Voice show Yevgeny Sinitsyn.
The bards will continue their musical program, performing at the site near the Pearl Lake. Spectators will also be shown a pyrotechnic show.
In addition, shopping arcades will open along several streets, and master classes, a fair of craftsmen will be held in the courtyard of the Annunciation Cathedral, and a creative platform will operate.
“There will also be a presentation of the rite “Fair of brides “Vychegda sailors”. It was based on the story of how peasant girls came on rafts and boats to the Prokopyevskaya Fair to find a husband,” the portal notes.
At one of the crossroads there will be colorful photo zones, living statues, and the townspeople in old costumes will make a promenade.
In the Literary Square, guests will be offered to watch a literary and musical composition, as well as take part in the Open Your Mouth reading aloud championship. And on the site near the Pyankovs' house, you can get acquainted with the work of artists, join the drawing of a large panel and treat yourself to lemonade.
