The press service of the national park "Losing Ostrov" reported that a screening assessment of the clinical status of the spotted deer population took place on the territory. Specialists performed ultrasound and monitoring of cardiac activity by echocardiographic examination.

During the examination, pregnancy was recorded in several females. The specialists did not identify any pathologies and noted that the development of the fruits is proceeding well. The staff of the national park stressed that the presence of pregnancies in female deer indicates that the animals feel comfortable and reproduce safely, and the population is not in danger.

The examinations also confirmed the satisfactory condition of the animals as a whole. All information received will be entered into the animal health passport.
