A year-round tourist and recreational resort will appear in the Alagir region and will become one of the points of attraction in the North Caucasus.
The press service of Glavgosexpertiza reported that positive conclusions have now been issued for the construction of several facilities on the territory of the future resort. They will be erected as part of the first stage of construction of the engineering infrastructure of the resort village of Kalak.
The resort is expected to take 700,000 tourists a year. Its total area will be 5400 hectares. On the territory of "Mamison" there are 47 historical and architectural monuments included in the register of historical heritage. These attractions have become part of the tourist complex.
The project documentation, which was reviewed by state experts, concerns the construction of a garage for snow groomers with a total area of 643 sq. m. A canopy will be installed next to it, under which 20 snow groomers and a container gas station can be placed. In addition, to the west of the village of Tib, it is planned to build an open parking lot for 460 cars, as well as a shed to accommodate equipment, a building for a security post, a public toilet and sanitary facilities for drivers of municipal vehicles.
In addition, the project documentation provides for the construction of an access road to the central square and the M1 cable car station, as well as an access road to the snow groomer garage. Communication, power supply and water disposal networks will be laid here, medium-pressure gas pipelines will be built, and local treatment facilities and ten pavilions will be installed.
