Skiers and snowboarders made a mass descent along the track in honor of the start of the ski season on December 17th.
The Interfax-tourism portal, citing the press service of Kavkaz.RF, reported that free master classes for skiers, a disco, skating to DJ sets and a puppet theater were waiting for the guests of the resort.
The resort "Arkhyz" opened in December 2013. In the tourist villages of Romantik and Lunnaya Polyana, there are more than 40 ski and utility infrastructure facilities. The resort is equipped with 27 km of ski slopes, a network of lifts, artificial snow systems
This year, for the first time in its history, Arkhyz opened skating entirely on artificial snow, thanks to the fact that all tracks are 100% equipped with snow generation systems.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
