Festive Christmas trees with Santa Claus will be held in the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve on December 25. There will be four performances based on the fairy tale "Morozko". Dance performances, live music and sweet gifts are waiting for guests.
On December 26, postal stations will operate in the Mukhin, Vasilchikova manors, the Tsaritsyno and Ostafevo nature reserves, as well as the Lublin Estate Museum, from where it will be possible to send a postcard in the pre-revolutionary style. Visitors will be able to sign it with a quill pen and give it to the postman in the form of the XIX century.
On December 28, the Saltykov estate will host a tour of the interiors of the former count's residence. On the same day, theatrical literary readings of the novel "Eugene Onegin" with professional artists will be held at the Mukhin estate.
On December 29, funny festivities will be held at the Mikhalkovo estate. Visitors, along with buffoons and street musicians, will lead round dances, play lapta, towns and burners, and sing folk songs.
On the same evening, a grand masquerade ball will be held under the elegant light dome over the park of the Razumovsky estate. Each guest will receive a mask and will be able to feel at the winter festival of the turn of the XIX–XX centuries. A master class in ballroom dancing and a historical quest will also be held for visitors.
In addition, Muscovites will be able to visit the "Intellectual Salon" in several estates, a chamber concert by the Moscow Ensemble of Ancient Music Da Camera e da Chiesa, literary readings and other interesting events. Tea stations and a New Year's post office will also operate in the estates during the festival.
