The Calanques National Park has published pictures of the Mediterranean spearfish, which apparently accidentally swam to the port of Pointe Rouge in Marseille.

This fish rarely appears in France - the Mediterranean spearfish or marlin (lat. Tetrapturus belone) lives in neighboring Italy, but rarely enters the water in France.

Images of the fish were taken by divers and scientists and given to the Calanques National Park.

Marlin can reach up to 2.40 m in length.
