The "March of Parks" is held in the national park "Curonian Spit"

The press service of the national park "Curonian Spit" announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the environmental campaign "March of Parks". This year, the campaign will be held on April 20-21 under the motto "Conservation and restoration of nature – a favorable climate".

To take part in the "March of Parks", volunteers must apply by April 8. As part of the campaign, the protective coastal rampart will be strengthened with brushwood and shields, the improvement of the park's infrastructure facilities, the clearing of stairs from sand and garbage collection.

The international action "March of Parks" has been held since 1995. Its goal is to help local residents, representatives of government, business and the media to learn as much as possible about specially protected natural areas and contribute to their support.
