"Alexander's Road" - a route of historical reconstruction, covering six regions of the country. The cavalry started in mid-July in the Lake Pleshcheyevo National Park. The trip ended in the Pskov region on the territory of the Remdovsky reserve, which is under the control of the Sebezhsky national park.
The camps of historical reconstruction "Rus", "Europe", as well as the camp of the cavalry "Alexander's Road" were set up here. The event was attended by reenactors from Pskov, St. Petersburg, the Leningrad region, Moscow, Tver and Smolensk.
For a month, over 10 thousand people became participants and guests of thematic locations organized along the route of the cavalry.
As part of the closing ceremony, cavalry performances, historical workshops on the manufacture of authentic glass beads, a historical shield, chain mail weaving, various leather and wood products were held. In addition, there were trading rows and craft fairs.
The press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources noted that the route "Alexander Road" will again be held in the summer of 2023. The project is planned to be expanded to include even more regions and specially protected natural areas.
