The Khakassky Reserve (The Republic of Khakassia) has launched a training course "The Guide’s Academy - 2021". The program starts today, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.

In the course of a special intensive program, the participants of the program will gain new skills and work out already existing knowledge in the field of ecological tourism in specially protected natural areas (SPNAs).

The topic of this year's program is Tourism and Related Services.

“This year we do not rely on new participants, as in previous years, but raise the qualifications among existing specialists. This will improve the quality of the excursion services provided, enhance the safety of our visitors, as well as conduct even more close monitoring of compliance with the rules for visiting protected areas,” said Viktor Nepomnyashchy, director of the Khakassky Nature Reserve.

At the end of the training course, the participants are expected to receive certification, based on the results, which certificates the completion of the course. The best graduates will receive admission to internships in the protected areas of Khakassia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
