The press service of the Irkutsk administration reported that on June 15 and 16, a large gastronomic festival "Well-fed Babr" will be held on the square near the monument to Alexander III in the city. The organizers have already started accepting applications for participation from representatives of local restaurants, cafes and farmers.

A large open-air food court will be built right on the shore of the Angara River. Here, guests will be able to taste not only street food classics from around the world, but also local, experimental dishes.

A gastronomic lecture hall with tastings, master classes from famous chefs, as well as a market with local brands will be organized on the square. Those who wish will be able to visit the picnic, children's and lounge areas, as well as interactive playgrounds. A non-stop entertainment program with prizes will be prepared for the guests.

Last year, the event was attended by about 25 thousand people. This year's festival concept will reflect family values through gastronomic culture, creativity, emotions and art.
