The main focus of the unusual laboratory is the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. As noted by physiotherapist, somnologist Denis Samoilov, sleep is a natural state necessary to restore the physical and mental processes of the body. Only during sleep can a person restore the resources necessary for the work of all organs and systems, muscles, and most importantly, the brain. Various studies show that you can live without sleep for only seven days.

One of the main studies in diagnosing sleep disorders is computed pulse oximetry, which is performed using a small device that is worn on the arm before bed. During the night, the miniature device performs 15,000 measurements, the data is sent early in the morning to the sleep doctor. These indicators allow you to choose the right course of treatment.

CPAP therapy helps to solve sleep problems. During the procedure, a person puts on a special mask through which there is a constant supply of air under pressure. This prevents the occurrence of respiratory diseases and a drop in the level of oxygen in the blood, all processes are controlled by a microcomputer built into the device.

The Sleep Laboratory at the Rosa Khutor resort has developed special sanatorium programs available from three to 7 days.
