The route will cover the most popular and bright points of tourist attraction of the peninsula.
The route will consist of four blocks: urban agglomeration, Nalychevo cluster, Verkhne-Paratunskaya valley and South Kamchatka cluster. Having gone on such a tour, it will be possible to visit the main sights of the region. Additionally, the national itinerary of Kamchatka will include excursions to the Valley of Geysers and Kuril Lake.
The "urban agglomeration" block is a series of excursions within the city limits of the administrative center of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky urban district, the city of Yelizovo and the Yelizovsky municipal district, as well as a visit to the Khalaktyrsky beach. Tours will introduce tourists to the history and architecture of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, tell about the culture of the indigenous peoples of Kamchatka.
The Nalychevo cluster consists of five volcanoes. Two of them are active. The most popular for climbing are Avachinsky, Koryaksky and Kozelsky volcanoes, and climbing Avachinsky Sopka is considered an integral part of traveling around Kamchatka.
The Upper Paratunskaya Valley is located in the picturesque valley of the Paratunka River, about 70 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Here is a unique place of rest for lovers of sports tourism and skiing. On the territory of the Paratunskaya Valley, mountain and sports bases are open for tourists all year round. Here tourists can ride skis, quad bikes, bicycles and mountain bikes, as well as go on a thematic tour.
The South Kamchatka cluster includes two active volcanoes - Mutnovsky and Gorely. Climbing them does not require professional training. In total, three tourist routes have been laid on the territory of the Yuzhno-Kamchatsky Natural Park, accessible at different times of the year. In summer, you can go hiking, riding jeeps or quad bikes, flying in a helicopter, swimming in thermal springs and watching wild animals. In winter, cross-country skiing or snowmobiling is available for tourists.
It is planned to complete the development of the passport for the first Kamchatka route by the end of August. In the first half of September, the project will be sent to the expert commission of the Federal Tourism Agency.
