Representatives of the ski industry of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan met in the mountains of Sochi.

The festival was the first large-scale event of the Alliance of Mountain Resorts of Eurasia. The organization was established in June 2023, it included the Russian resort Rosa Khutor, the Kazakh Shymkent and the Uzbek Amirsoy, and later the Azerbaijani Shahdag joined. The association is designed to provide a platform for the strategic development of tourism in Eurasia, professional communication, promotion of best practices and brands of mountain resorts. Among the main goals of the alliance are the promotion of all–season mountain tourism and the popularization of an active lifestyle, the exchange of necessary information and best practices, professional development of employees of mining complexes, the development of common approaches to safety standards.

- The Alliance of Mountain Resorts of Eurasia is designed to promote the strategic development of cooperation and long-term ties between resorts. The festival's agenda included a business program. Within the framework of the event, round tables and discussions were held on the topic of tourism development, the introduction of unified standards for the quality of tourist services, and the development of specific solutions. One of the main tasks is to create an interstate tourist mountain route. By the 2024-2025 season, it is planned to implement to some extent the idea of a single ski pass between the mountain resorts of the alliance. Concrete practical steps will ensure a uniform level of service quality at the resorts and increase the tourist flow," said Sergey Hvorostyany, Deputy Director General for International Relations and Tourism at Rosa Khutor resort.

At the round tables of the festival, an exchange of experience took place between specialists of mountain resorts – avalanche safety services, ski slopes training, instructors. The guests of Rosa Khutor were able not only to see demo descents from Eurasian professionals, but also to take master classes in downhill skiing and snowboarding. The participants of the Festival made virtual trips to the slopes of the mountain resort "Mailer" (Armenia), the ski centers "Silichi" and "Lagoysk" (Belarus), learned about the development of tourism in Kyrgyzstan. And as part of the evening of national cuisines, we got acquainted with the gastronomic culture of the Eurasian region - we tasted real Uzbek pilaf, Kazakh beshbarmak, Armenian kebabs, Azerbaijani dolma, Russian dumplings, pancakes and fish soup.
