Portal "Interfax-tourism" reported that the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova took part in a round table as part of the Second Caspian Economic Forum in Moscow. In her opinion, the development of sea beach recreation on the shores of the Caspian Sea has great potential.

“This sea is very competitive, it is much warmer than the Black Sea, shallow and ideal for children's recreation,” she said.

Doguzova said that the Peter the Great cruise liner is now being built at Astrakhan shipyards.

“We expect that it will be completely ready by the end of the year, and starting from 2023, for the first time in the history of the Caspian Sea, cruise shipping will begin,” the head of Rostourism said.
