The first capsule hotels appeared at two Moscow railway stations

The capsule can be rented for one or several hours. The service is provided around the clock.

“In order to increase comfort and improve the quality of passenger service at Russian railway stations, the Russian Railways holding is launching a new service - capsule hotels. The first hotels are already operating at Yaroslavsky and Kazansky railway stations in Moscow,” as per a press release on the Russian Railways website.

According to the company, capsules are designed for comfortable sleep and equipped with everything necessary, including a USB adapter for charging gadgets, and a luggage compartment, they were placed in the Comfort halls of the station complexes. Each capsule is designed for one person, but it is possible to accommodate a mother with a child up to six years old.

“The guest is also given a pillow, a set of disposable bed linen and a blanket. You can also purchase kits for shaving and personal hygiene.

The cost of living depends on the duration of use of the capsules. Thus, an hour of rent will cost 250 rubles (when paying for accommodation in the Comfort hall), 3 hours - 450 rubles, 6 hours - 800 rubles, and 12 hours - 1500 rubles.
