The first All-Russian competition in support of Arctic crafts and tourist souvenirs

The Federal Agency for Tourism is accepting applications for the first All-Russian competition in support of Arctic crafts and tourist souvenirs.

Applications for participation in the event will be accepted until October 24, 2022. The purpose of the competition is to preserve and develop traditional folk art crafts, as well as to improve the quality of crafts, souvenirs and support for regional companies in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the Arctic Development Project Office (PORA) reported.

The competition is held in five categories: the best master of carved art; the best master of leather and fur craft; the best master of creative craft; the best Arctic art project; the best master of gastronomic souvenir.

According to the results of the competition, semi-finalists and finalists will receive diplomas, souvenirs and monetary remuneration up to 75 thousand rubles, the rest - certificates of participation in this event.
