“The Sochi airport has not stopped operating and continues to operate as normal,” the press service of the city’s air harbor said.

A major fire occurred on September 20 at 5:15 am at a fuel and lubricants warehouse located in the Adler district of Sochi. The fact of the emergency was confirmed by the head of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev.

- a tank with diesel fuel caught fire in the Adler region. The area of the fire is 96 square meters, Veniamin Kondratiev wrote in his Telegram channel.

The forces and means of emergency and operational services were immediately deployed to the scene. It was established that an empty oil tank was burning on the territory of the warehouse. 15 units of special equipment are involved at the site, more than 60 employees of the fire department, URPSO, Sochi Rescue Service, Sochigorgaz, and law enforcement agencies are working. There was no evacuation. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries. There is no threat of fire spreading beyond the industrial area. The details of the incident are being clarified.
