At the session, the speakers discussed the development of entrepreneurial initiatives and attraction of investments in the field of tourism infrastructure, modular construction and roadside services.

The discussion program included two thematic blocks: "Development of tourism infrastructure and roadside services as a factor in the investment attractiveness of the region" and "Development of industry communities at the level of the national idea."

Anastasia Komarova, Deputy Head of the Department of Economics and Investments, Representative Office of the Government of the Yaroslavl Region under the Government of the Russian Federation, addressed the forum participants: “Tourism in our region is one of the three main ones, where we actively attract investors and entrepreneurs, including infrastructure. Since February of this year, we have been meeting every week with 15-20 representatives of various industries and have attracted three investors to existing private businesses, and another two dozen are at the stage of negotiations with the region. All of them will be involved in expanding the networks of glampings and hotels, building new hotels and glampings, and developing the leisure component.”

Some of the problems associated with the development of autotourism can be solved through various commercial projects. In particular, Miron Belikov, commercial director of CJSC Pilor, said that the company has discovered a new direction of development, a new market, and a roadside service project with vacuum toilet systems is already being implemented, which allows economical use of water and solves the problem of odors, and although , this is a new initiative, interest in such products is gradually growing.

Another option for creating a comfortable environment for travelers was presented by Grigory Vasin, director of CITY WC. He said that on the section of the bike lane between Yakhroma and Dubna, two 120 sq. stock. In his speech, Grigory Vasin emphasized: “The economic effect of the project exceeded the expectations of investors, the flow of tourists in the winter and summer seasons turned out to be quite high and services are in high demand, including rental.”

Egor Evdokimov, the founder of ABC-Industrial, recalled that roadside service is necessary, first of all, for traffic safety: drivers of both heavy trucks and cars need rest to be really calm on the roads. It is important for the regions to have more roadside service points, but in fact today the conditions for launching such a business in our country are not favorable enough. Yegor Evdokimov called for the creation of committees based on regional authorities, thanks to which entrepreneurs and authorities could listen to mutual requests, launch public and private partnership projects, provide grants to start-ups in the tourism sector, etc.

Vladimir Turman, the author and creator of the only step-by-step methodology in Russia and the CIS for developing a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) and launching a business into an uncompetitive space, told the audience: “If we, as entrepreneurs, all strive to make a beautiful product, if we look in this direction all the time, if we love what we do, if we understand that the main goal of business is to create the best solution in the industry in which we work, if there is less consumer attitude to everything, then we will create solutions that will globally stretch small and medium-sized businesses, tourism industry and related areas,” he concluded.
