During the meeting of the Interstate Ecological Council of the CIS, Alexander Kozlov drew attention to the fact that the current geopolitical situation has pushed into the background environmental issues that were voiced at the end of last year by all world powers.

“Our countries have always been together, and, despite the borders, were in a single ecological space. We cooperate with each of you on the entire environmental agenda. Not for trade pressure. And for the sake of a common, environmentally friendly future of our children and grandchildren,” Kozlov said.

“The most important issue is the creation of a unified working system of environmental safety in our countries. A system that would cope with technogenic and anthropogenic pollution of the environment. For our part, we are ready to actively engage in its development,” the minister said.
