The environmental and educational action "Water Alley", dedicated to the careful attitude to water resources, will be held in Moscow from August 31 to September 6. It will be held in the Muzeon Park of Arts, on the embankment opposite the entrance to the New Tretyakov Gallery. The organizer of the action is Rosvodresursy with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
“Today the world is facing a shortage of fresh water, and therefore keeping water clean, preserving our lakes, rivers, wetlands for all generations of the country is a matter of national security,” said Alexander Kozlov, head of the Ministry of Natural Resources, whose words are quoted on the agency’s website.
Muzeon will have seven photo zones with props for guests of the Water Alley. In one of them, the participants of the action will find themselves on winter Baikal, with skates, muffs and hats with earflaps, in the other - on sun loungers. In addition, guests of the festival will be able to watch how a professional artist creates an art zone "Water is ...".
“A VR cinema will operate on the site all days: with the help of virtual reality glasses, visitors will be able to go on a journey through the most beautiful water bodies in Russia. How to save water in everyday life - it will be possible to learn from the results of the Water Footprint Calculator test (a mini-application developed on the VK platform),” the ministry said.
Children and teenagers at the festival will be able to attend environmental lessons, master classes, thematic quizzes and the School of Water Superheroes. The most active participants will receive gifts.
And guests of the interactive zone of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia "Coast of Good Deeds", who complete tasks that motivate them to participate in cleaning the coast, will receive prizes from the largest environmental volunteer project "Water of Russia".
