“Gastronomy is an important part of tourism. Going on a trip, we are sure to get acquainted with the local cuisine. Through food we learn culture, history, traditions. Together with the project "Gastronomic map of Russia" for the forum "Travel!" we have prepared a special program of master classes and tastings. Forum guests will be able to get acquainted with the cuisines and dishes of different peoples of Russia,” said Vladimir Zatynaiko, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation.
His words are quoted in a message on the website of the Russian tourist forum Travel!, which takes place from 4 to 7 August at VDNKh.
According to the organizers, over four days there will be 11 master classes from leading Russian chefs, presentations and tastings of regional products produced on farms from all over the country. “Vainakh cuisine, an arctic lunch box, Russian snacks, a farm breakfast at a glamping site, gastro-souvenir products from the Altai Territory – guests of the master classes will learn about this and much more,” the forum website says.
Representatives of the Tula, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Voronezh, Kaluga, Murmansk, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod regions, Altai Territory, Ingushetia and Kabardino-Balkaria will take part in the program. The curator and host of the platform is Ekaterina Shapovalova, author-methodologist and project leader of the Gastronomic Map of Russia project.
The organizer of the forum "Travel!" 2022 is the Roscongress.
