The official website of the Moscow Mayor announced the start of accepting applications for the Moscow Government Prize “Guiding Star - 2023”. It is awarded to gastronomic projects, hotels, tour guides and other industry representatives who develop capital tourism. Applications can be submitted until December 24.
This year there are 17 nominations. The winners of six of them will be chosen by an expert jury, another 11 will be determined by Muscovites in the “Active Citizen” project. Both individual entrepreneurs and self-employed people can take part in the competition.
Among the nominations that the jury will evaluate are “Best Hotel “Five Stars””, “Best Hotel “Four Stars””, “Best Hotel “Three Stars””, “Best Congress Hotel”, “Moscow Hospitality: Tour Operator (Best Interregional tourist product" and "Best customer-oriented hotel".
In addition, as a result of the competition, “Best Hotel for Family Vacations”, “Best Hotel Breakfast” and “Best Publication about Traveling in Moscow” will be determined.
Residents of the capital will choose the best gastronomic projects in the categories “Moscow Breakfast”, “Moscow Classics”, “Fashionable Gastronomy”, “Best Moscow Confectionery” and “Best Hotel Breakfast”. In addition, citizens will vote for the best tourism media.
Separate awards are provided for excursion and cultural and leisure projects.
Applications will close on October 24 at 18:00. The results of the competition will be announced in December.
