On the night of February 15, a heavy snowfall took place in the city. About 40 millimeters of rain fell in the Lazarevsky district of the city. 70 units of equipment were used to clean the road, 150 people cleared sidewalks and passages to social facilities.

- Fallen trees, heavy snow sticking to the wires caused violations of power lines in the Solokhaulsky and Kirovsky rural districts. Emergency teams are on site, the transformer substation was powered by diesel generators. The tree also damaged a gas pipeline in the Golovinka area. Specialists have begun to restore it, said the mayor of Sochi Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

On the federal highway A-147, more than 30 fallen trees were removed overnight. Emergency stops of transport provoked traffic jams. In the most problematic area - in the Volkonka area, in conditions of low temperatures, a difficult weather situation, I decided to deploy a heating point, where motorists can warm up, drink tea, and charge their phones. The operational headquarters is also based here, which includes representatives of the district administration, rescue services, communal and road organizations.

- In total, 250 pieces of equipment worked on the roads in the city at night. More than 300 people clear sidewalks, stairs and urban areas. I thank all involved services, stressed the head of Sochi Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

Storm warning in Sochi continues to operate. Ice is possible on the roads. The resort authorities ask you not to use transport on summer tires and follow all safety measures.
