Sochi entered the top three most promising cities in Russia for the development of the hotel business

The survey among the largest international hotel operators was conducted by Cushman & Wakefield analysts. Respondents rated the advantages of opening hotels in 20 Russian cities on a scale from 0 to 10: unattractive - very attractive.

«As a result of the survey, Sochi took the third place, with a score of 8.7 points. Second place went to Moscow - 9.5 points. By the way, the capital, unlike the resort, has shifted one step, while Sochi was on the 3rd place in 2020.

The leader was St. Petersburg, which received the maximum score - 10 points, according to the results of the survey.

Kazan, Rostov, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk and Perm are among the top ten cities in Russia that show great hope for opening new chains of hotels.

It is planned that two international class hotels will be built in the territory of Sochi within a few years. In 2025, the Lotte Plaza Hotel, worth 6 billion rubles, will be put into operation in the city center. In Krasnaya Polyana, they are going to build a four-star Hilton chain
