In 2023, the resort took second place among the cities of the Krasnodar Territory in terms of investments in fixed assets by large and medium-sized organizations, while Sochi came out on top in the region in terms of the growth rate of this indicator. In the first half of the year, the volume of investments in the economy of the region amounted to 310 billion rubles. At the same time, in Sochi, this figure amounted to 27.6 billion rubles, which is twice as much as in the same period of 2022.
- Sochi today ranks second among the cities of the Krasnodar Territory in this indicator. At the same time, according to the growth rate, the city is in the first place with a result of 210%, - said the first deputy head of the city Svetlana Kalinina.
Currently, Sochi's investment portfolio consists of 47 projects totaling 480 billion rubles. Of these, 27 are in the sanatorium and resort industry. Thanks to their implementation, it is planned to increase the number of rooms of the resort by more than 16.5 thousand rooms and create more than 15 thousand new jobs.
