The way to the resort from the capital will be reduced to 10 hours. The development of high-speed railways in the country was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the exhibition "The Year of the New Transport Framework" in Moscow. In his opinion, it is important that a high-speed branch line leads to the south.

- If you "drag" (the highway) from Moscow to Adler, it will already be ten hours on the way. This is a completely different story for those who go on vacation to the south," the Kremlin quotes the president.

According to the head of Sochi Alexey Kopaygorodsky, this project opens up great prospects for Sochi to increase the tourist flow and, accordingly, the city's economy.

- The new high—speed railway line can become another powerful incentive for the further development of Sochi as a resort, Russian residents will have an additional opportunity to travel comfortably to the resorts of the Black Sea coast by land transport, - said Alexey Kopaygorodsky.

In addition to the development of railway communication at the resort, it is planned to create a highway bypassing Adler.
