The presentation of the research results took place within the framework of the business program of the "Travel!" forum, where experts discussed topical issues of the development of domestic tourism in Russia, such as:

  • State support measures for domestic tourism: forum participants highly appreciated the state's efforts to develop domestic tourism, but noted the need to further improve the system of support for the industry.
  • Experts also noted the growing popularity of such areas as ecotourism, gastronomic tourism, event tourism, as well as individual travel.
  • The experts emphasized the role of digital technologies in the development of domestic tourism: the forum participants stressed the importance of using digital technologies to promote tourist products and services, as well as to improve the quality of service for tourists.
