Ski cluster on Sparrow Hills in Moscow to open in September

The portal "Interfax-tourism" citing the head of the capital's construction department Rafik Zagrutdinov said that the launch of the ski cluster is planned for September this year. During the construction of the facility, advanced technologies were used.

According to Zagrutdinov, engineering protection with an area of ​​4.5 thousand square meters will be installed to prevent landslide and erosion processes. Two snowcats will form the slopes during the season.

In addition, work on the construction of a tow ropeway as part of the cluster is nearing completion. Its length along the slope will be about 130 m. The capacity of the cable car will be 1,000 people per hour. Start-up and adjustment works are currently underway.
