Sea water in Sochi meets sanitary standards

Since the beginning of the year, about 4,000 studies have already been conducted at the resort.

- Experts carry out quality control of sea water on all beaches of the city every 10 days. According to sanitary rules, water sampling is carried out at a distance of ten meters from the coastline, — said Kirill Yarysh, director of the Department of Resorts, Tourism and Consumer Sphere of the Sochi administration.

Specialists evaluate microbiological, sanitary-chemical, parasitological, virological indicators. According to research data, sea water in Sochi meets the standards.
