Today, an electric bus of Belarusian production is already being tested at the resort. The battery life of this model is at least 70 kilometers on a single charge. It takes 25 minutes to fully charge. In 2022, testing of Russian-made electric buses, including the KamAZ brand, will begin in Sochi.

«Public transport that runs on electricity is environmentally friendly. In addition, it has a full range of advantages necessary for a resort town. It is important to correctly distribute electric buses along the route network, taking into account the reserve of running characteristics,» said the head of Sochi, Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

The operating route network of Sochi consists of 122 routes. More than 800 units of large, medium and small class rolling stock enter the line every day.
