The press service of the Russian Union of the Tourism Industry reported that the main task of the congress will be to promote the acceleration of the integration of the tourism economies of Russia and Belarus, the removal of existing regulatory, administrative and other barriers in the development of Russian-Belarusian relations in the tourism industry.
The report notes that the business program promises to be as rich and useful as possible. Trainings, professional sections, a round table and plenary sessions will be held on the sidelines of the congress. The congress participants will discuss current tasks and prospects for the development of the tourism industry of the two countries, as well as issues of economic and legislative regulation of the tourism sector of the union state.
Sections will be dedicated to the development of tourism infrastructure and investments, promising types of Russian-Belarusian tourism, health resorts, as well as the topic of prospects for the mutual integration of national tourism awards and event tourism.
"Speakers at the sections will be representatives of state development institutions, regional authorities in the field of tourism, heads of accommodation facilities, investment companies, heads of tour operators and transport companies, display facilities, and industrial enterprises," the report says.
The event will end with a presentation of the tourist product of the regions of the Russian Federation and informal networking.
