The press service of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development announced the resumption of direct flights between Russia and Oman. Oman Air will operate flights three times a week. From December 1, it is planned to increase the flight program to 5 flights per week, and from December 25 - to 6 flights per week. Now Russian tourists can not only explore the beauty of Oman but also enjoy a comfortable flight.
In recent years, Oman and Russia have begun close cooperation in all major areas of cooperation, including tourism. Tourist flows between the two countries have already exceeded pre-pandemic levels. The outbound flow of travelers from Russia to Oman last year amounted to 39 thousand trips. In the current half-year, the inbound flow of Omani tourists to Russia has increased more than 6 times and amounted to 2.6 thousand trips.
In the fall, the Sultanate of Oman's tourism office began its work in Russia. This event should further increase the awareness of the tourism product among potential tourists and expand business contacts between representatives of the tourism business of the two countries.
