The retro train "Ruskeala Express" has transported its one-millionth passenger. The jubilee passenger departed from Sortavala to the Ruskeala Mountain Park on November 7. This is a resident of Armavir, Lyudmila Fomenko, as reported on the Russian Railways Telegram channel.

"This is my first trip to Karelia on a retro train, and I will remember it for the rest of my life. The atmosphere on the platform and in the train, the conductors' uniforms, the smoking locomotive - it all captivates and transports you to another era. I want to come back here again and again. I can't believe I became the millionth passenger of this legendary train," Fomenko's impressions are quoted in the message.

As a souvenir of the trip, she was presented with a certificate for 30,000 points and gifts.

As the company reported, since the beginning of the year, the tourist train "Ruskeala Express" has been used by more than 161.3 thousand passengers, which is 4.3% more than in the same period last year.
