International forum “Eco Altai. Thread of Nature" will be held on September 29–30, 2023 and will become a platform for the presentation of innovative environmental practices, projects, exchange of opinions and experience between Russian and foreign experts.
One of the key blocks of the Forum’s business program will be devoted to the development of ecotourism and tourism infrastructure.
Russian regions aim at developing eco-tourism in specially protected natural areas. A separate session of the Forum will be devoted to this topic – “Tourist Code. Ecotourism and infrastructure. Development of tourism in specially protected natural areas”. Russian Tourism Forum “Travel!”has become a partner of the event. It is an innovative project of the Roscongress Foundation, combining a business forum as a platform for dialogue between the state and business and the largest tourism festival for travelers in Russia.
Among the issues for discussion at the session: how to assess the environmental effectiveness of investment tourism projects, build a strategy for attracting tourists to national parks, instill in them the rules of behavior in specially protected natural areas, as well as provide the environmental sector of the tourism industry with competent and caring personnel, and others.
The discussion will be attended by speakers of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, representatives of the government of the Altai Republic, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Roszapovedtsentr, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Council for Green Construction, ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, as well as leaders and experts of relevant departments and companies.
