Continuing to develop an extensive network of mountain hiking trails in cooperation with the Sochi National Park, the Rosa Khutor resort for the first time opens the Nakhazo campsite for tourists. It is located on the southern slope of the Aibga ridge at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level. A new educational route with the same name leads to it. The length of the path is about seven kilometers one way, the height difference is 420 meters, and the duration is three hours.

Camping "Nakhaso" is a modern tourist camp of increased comfort with 12 wooden lodges of a creative triangular shape, reminiscent of gable tents. Inside, the houses are equipped with everything necessary for a cozy overnight stay - beds with linens, sockets for recharging phones, lamps, etc. Also on the territory of the campsite there is a restaurant, a bathroom with toilets and showers, an information center with mountain equipment rental, a large terrace with a beautiful view of the Psou river valley - a telescope standing here will allow guests to watch the stars. Cellular communication and wi-fi are available at the campsite.

“Now the request for an alternative vacation with immersion in the “wild” nature is becoming more and more popular, says Alexander Belokobylsky, general director of the Rosa Khutor resort. - And we are ready to provide our guests with such an opportunity. In addition to the routes with professional guides, the pleasure of solitude, the air and the surrounding landscapes, it will be possible to take special training courses on behavior in the mountains at the campsite. Our new facility is ideal not only for an individual, but also for an interesting corporate holiday - everything you need is here.”

Nakhazo can be reached by the cable cars of the resort to the top of Rosa Peak and then walk along the mountain road for 7 km. A ski pass for the ski lifts is available at a special reduced rate when booking a camping stay. For vacationers, the option of a full board is provided, i.e. three meals a day (optional). The campsite also offers movie screenings, a large selection of board games, yoga classes, basic mountaineering, and the like.

Nakhazo is the first campsite in the Rosa Khutor nature tourism development program. As Alexander Belokobylsky notes, this is still a priority for the resort. The plans for the coming years include the creation of the necessary infrastructure. In particular, it is planned to complete work on a new tourist ring of hiking trails, 40 km long, on which 5 more campsites will be arranged. “According to our plan, campsites should be created in picturesque places, for example, near lakes, waterfalls and other natural beauties. These will be non-permanent buildings only for summer recreation, but in the future we are considering the possibility of creating a comfortable stay in them in winter as well. So far, this is only the beginning of our big program for the development of natural tourism in our resort,” said the general director of the Rosa Khutor resort.
