The resort became the first in three nominations of the district stage of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasus Federal District 2022 at once. The final of the district stage of the National Prize Russian Event Awards of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts 2022, in which 52 projects from 8 regions of the country were presented, took place as part of the Interregional Tourism Forum «Intourmarket. Autumn».
The final events took place in Yalta with the support of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, FROS Region PR, LLC "Consulting Tour" and the International Tourism Exhibition "Intourmarket".
The award ceremony was attended by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko, as well as representatives of the Russian tourism industry. A total of 17 nominations were announced in three of which Rosa Khutor became the absolute leader. The award experts recognized its superiority in the nomination "The best tourist event in the field of sports", where the famous Running Festival ROSA RUN (Sport Architecture LLC) was presented. It has been held at the resort for seven years in the first days of May. In 2022, it hosted more than 4 thousand athletes from different regions of the country. In the same nomination, "Rosa Khutor" received second place with the Hot Snow Battle project. At the center of this unusual event for the summer is a special construction made of snow, which is delivered from mountain peaks. On such an artificial “hill”, riders who miss winter compete in skiing and snowboarding, showing different tricks.
"Rosa Khutor" also won in the nomination "The best natural and recreational area for a tourist event." Thus, industry experts noted the achievements of the resort in creating a better atmosphere and quality infrastructure for events of various levels and directions.
The resort also took first place in the nomination "The Best Children's Tourist Event", the Cup "Khutorenok" was awarded here. These children's competitions are very popular.
The national award in the field of event tourism Russian Event Awards was established in 2012 and is supported by the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation (Rostourism).
