As reported by the Russian Union of the Travel Industry (RST), river cruise operators are planning to extend the navigation season this year until the second half of November, instead of closing on October 1st as previously done in Moscow.
"Companies note that the expansion of the season is due to increased demand and the cashback campaign of autumn 2021, thanks to which many Russians learned about the possibility of taking river cruises not only in summer," the RST website says.
According to the operators, the most popular cruises are journeys along the Golden Ring, especially with visits to Plyos,as well as themed cruises, for example, with the participation of scientists or artists.
