Rescued elk is now in the Moose Biological Station

The press service of the Losiny Ostrov National Park announced the arrival of the moose at the Elk Biological Station. The animal was rescued on Warsaw highway in Moscow.

Now the moose feels good and lives in a spacious enclosure. The animal is in quarantine and is undergoing adaptation. Biostation specialists watch him around the clock. They have already done a veterinary examination and taken blood samples.

After completion of the research, on the recommendations of experts, the elk will be released into its natural habitat.
