The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has announced a competitive selection for the provision of a unified subsidy for tourism to regions for three years - from 2025 to 2027. The annual amount of the subsidy will be 9 billion rubles. Applications can be submitted until December 6. The ministry reported this on its website.

"The unified subsidy can be used for the improvement of beaches and national tourist routes, including the manufacture and installation of navigation elements on such routes and the creation of tourist information centers," the message says.

Funds can also be used to purchase tourist equipment and gear, camping tents, to create campsites, and to implement projects to improve city tourist centers. In addition, with such support, non-capital berthing facilities can be built and events to promote the region's tourism potential can be held.

The selection is carried out within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality".

The purpose of the competition is to provide and distribute subsidies to the subjects of the Russian Federation for events that will be determined by the regions independently within the framework of certain areas.
