Prince Harry has attended an ecotourism summit in Scotland as part of his eco-friendly Travalyst initiative.

During his speech, the prince, on behalf of the creators of Travalyst, announced a project on sustainable tourism development, which will allow industry participants to assess their impact on the environment. The project will serve as a multi-channel guidance for assessing sustainable development in the tourism industry and will relate to the air travel, housing and tourism sectors.

The project aims to help customers choose more environmentally friendly modes of transportation, as well as those companies that contribute to the development of communities.

Prince Harry launched Travalyst in September in partnership with Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Visa, and Skyscanner.

Travalyst encourages environmentally friendly and culturally conscious travel in the tourism industry, and strives to support local people, protect wildlife and prevent further damage to the environment.
