This was announced by the director of aviation commerce of the Aerodinamika Group of Companies Alexander Nikonov. For 8 months of 2022, 608 thousand people have already used international flights, in 2021 this figure was only 122 thousand.

- The increase in the number of international flights was influenced by the active work of the airport with Russian airlines to create foreign route networks, integrate the processes of end-to-end processing of transfer baggage, as well as attract new foreign air carriers, - said Alexander Novikov.

In 2022, four new airlines launched flights to Sochi - Air Serbia, Fly one Armenia, Fly Jordan and Fly Arna. Today, you can fly from the Russian resort to eight countries of the world: Turkey, Egypt, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
