Over a million tourists visited parks near Moscow on New Year's holidays

The press service of the Ministry of Improvement of the Moscow Region reported that more than 1 million people visited parks of culture and recreation during the holidays. At the same time, most visits were noted on December 31.

Guests of the parks could go ice skating or skiing, as well as take part in other winter activities. Over 75,000 people visited the skating rink during the holidays. About 30 thousand people preferred to go skiing.

In addition, tourists could ride on free governor's carousels. They work in the Resurrection Park Krivyakino, the park "Skitskie Prudy" in Sergiev Posad, the park named after. Zaitsev in Kolomna, the Central City Park of the Bogorodsky District, the City Parks of Volokolamsk and Chekhov, on the central squares of Domodedovo and Odintsovo.

The most visited parks in the Moscow region were the Eco-Bereg park in Khimki, the city park in Mytishchi, the Yolochki park in Domodedovo, the Pekhorka park in Balashikha and the Natashinsky park in Lyubertsy.
