For the November holidays, the Russian Railways holding plans to schedule more than 250 additional long-distance trains. This is 10% more than a year earlier. The company announced this on its website.
“National Unity Day falls on Saturday this year, so the weekend will last from November 4 to 6. The peak departure date will be November 3, in the opposite direction the maximum passenger flow is expected on November 6,” the report says.
Additional trains will run from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Perm, Tyumen, Saratov, Adler, Kislovodsk, Novorossiysk, Brest, and from the city on the Neva to Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Arkhangelsk, Belgorod and Anapa.
In addition, additional trains are planned on such routes as Petrozavodsk - Pskov, Kislovodsk - Rostov-on-Don, Ufa - Imereti Resort, Tyumen - Orenburg, Voronezh - Kazan.
Tickets can be issued at railway ticket offices, on the official website of Russian Railways OJSC and using the Russian Railways Passengers mobile application.
