Norilsk residents set two records in the Russian Book of Records at once

In honor of the 70th anniversary of the city of Norilsk its residents set at once two records in the Russian Book of Records.

As part of the event called "Embrace the City" residents of Norilsk, dressed in white clothes, formed a "continuous closed chain" on both sides of the central highway - Leninsky Prospekt.

The experts of the Russian Book of Records recorded a record – the longest chain of people holding hands in Russia was 7.429 people.

Norilsk residents also took part in setting another record - "The largest ice cream", which was made by Norilsk Dairy plant.

The 200-kilogram delicacy was tasted by about 3.000 people who entered their achievement in the Russian Book of Records.
