The official website of the mayor of Moscow reported that the travel service Russpass has published a series of audio tours of places where famous writers lived and worked. Listeners, in particular, will learn about how Alexander Ostrovsky's plays are connected with the history of Zamoskvorechye and where Alexander Pushkin was married.

A separate route is dedicated to Alexander Pushkin. It is called "On the quiet shores of Moscow". The tour participants will visit the temples where the poet was baptized and married, visit the English Club building and see the house where the Pushkin family apartment was located.
The route "In the footsteps of great writers" will allow you to visit Mikhail Bulgakov's "bad apartment", Mikhail Zoshchenko and Mikhail Sholokhov's favorite restaurant, as well as the house where Alexander Pushkin gathered friends before the wedding.

The excursion "The favorite of the government and the people: Gorky places of Moscow" tells about the life of Maxim Gorky in the capital. This route begins near the monument to the writer at the Belorussky railway station, passes through his memorial apartment and ends at the walls of the Kremlin.

Participants of the audio tour "Columbus of Zamoskvorechye: following in the footsteps of Alexander Ostrovsky," they will learn how the playwright's plays are connected with the history of the district. They will be able to see the Theater Gallery on Malaya Ordynka, the building of the Institute of Asian and African Countries on Mokhovaya Street, the Russian Academic Youth Theater and the Maly Theater on Teatralnaya Square.

Two more walks are dedicated to Russian poets of the twentieth century. One of them will introduce Sergey Yesenin to important places in Moscow. The participants of this tour will walk from Kamergersky Lane to the Arbat. The second route will take you through Volkhonka and Prechistenka and tell you about Boris Pasternak and his beloved women.

A separate route is dedicated to the most famous literary village of Peredelkino. During this walk, guests will learn about the country life of Soviet writers.
