The Golden Ring Cities Union has announced the opening of new attractions in Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Region. One of them is a museum of piano art.
"Its creator, pianist, collector and restorer of historical pianos and grand pianos Alexey Talanov plans to regularly hold concerts of a philharmonic scale here," the message on the union's website says.
In addition, another tourist attraction has appeared near Lake Pleshcheevo - a park of miniatures of famous landmarks of the Golden Ring cities, created in the "Exclusive" workshop-museum of Andrey Larin.
Currently, there are models of the Transfiguration Cathedral (Pereslavl-Zalessky), the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin (Suzdal), the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl (Bogolyubovo), the Golden Gates (Vladimir), the Trinity Cathedral of the Trinity-Sergius Monastery (Sergiev Posad), the Assumption Cathedral and part of the wall of the Rostov Kremlin (Rostov), the bell tower of the Transfiguration Monastery (Yaroslavl) and the Fire Tower (Kostroma).
And near the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Pereslavl, a monument "Mother's Blessing" was installed, dedicated to the liberation of Moscow from Polish-Lithuanian intervention in 1612.
In addition, the city has completed the renovation of the Boatyard in the museum-estate "Peter I's Boat" - the facade of the building and the exhibition hall have been updated.
"Now visitors can again see the only surviving ship of Peter I's pleasure fleet," the Union of Golden Ring Cities noted.
